The Meadows at Lake Norman began in 1996 as a simple residence/ranch that slowly, after the first 5 years, began to accumulate a few animals. In the beginning, just 2 dogs and 4 goats (besides the human residents) called this "home". But now, long after the 2 dogs and 4 goats have left this realm, the Meadows is now "home" to many animals including Horses, Llamas, Scottish Highland Cattle, Bactrian Camels, Miniature Donkeys, Yaks, Zebra, Gemsbok, Eland, Wallaroos, various types of Goats, Chickens, Peacocks, Dogs, Cats, Geese, Ducks, a Pony and what ever else decides to move to our ranch. We sell many of the offspring once they are old enough and sometimes rotate out our adult stock, so check out our pages to see what animals we have available for sale. Yak and Goat breeding pairs are also available. Sorry, the human children are NOT for sale (although the thought HAS crossed our minds).
